Gaurs Group Acquires 35-Acre Land Parcels Along Yamuna Expressway from ICICI Bank for ₹700 Crore
Land Acquisition in Sector 18
Gaurs Group has acquired 35-acre land parcels along Yamuna Expressway from ICICI Bank for around Rs 700 crore to develop residential projects as part of its expansion plan. The company bought three land parcels in Sector 18 along the Yamuna Expressway, which connects Noida and Greater Noida to Agra, at an auction from ICICI Bank.
There are three land parcels, with a 24-acre plot being the largest. The land has been acquired in an open auction from ICICI Bank Ltd on an as-is, where-is basis, with the company settling all pending dues like EDC and farmer compensation.
Development Plans
Gaurs Group plans to launch the project on the 24-acre land parcel. The company plans to launch 3-4 housing projects by March next year at Noida and Yamuna Expressway.
Market Context and Developer Performance
The Group clocked sales bookings of ₹5,500 crore during the last fiscal year and is expecting to replicate or better its pre-sales performance in the 2026-27 fiscal. Gaurs Group has over 30 years of experience and has delivered nearly 75,000 units.
During this fiscal, Gaurs Group has already launched one housing project on Yamuna Expressway with a total revenue potential of ₹1,900 crore. Demand continues to be strong in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad due to lack of new supply from reputed developers.
