Gaurs Group Partners with Incharz to Deploy Public EV Charging Network Across NCR and Uttar Pradesh
Gaurs Group and Incharz Launch Strategic EV Charging Partnership
Incharz (Servotech EV Infra Pvt. Ltd.), a leading EV charging infrastructure developer and charge point operator in India, has announced a strategic partnership with the Gaurs Group, one of the country's foremost real estate developers with a vast portfolio of residential and commercial properties.
The partnership, announced in December 2025, represents a significant expansion of public charging infrastructure across high-density residential and commercial properties in the National Capital Region and Uttar Pradesh. Both companies have identified several high-potential sites to set up Public EV charging stations within Gaurs Group–managed spaces, with the charging network expanding across key residential, commercial and mixed-use developments owned by the real estate major.
Partnership Structure and Operations
Supported by Noida Power Company Limited (NPCL), Incharz will oversee the installation, operation and maintenance of the chargers in designated public-access parking zones. The partnership leverages NPCL's grid infrastructure and coordination capabilities across the region, where NPCL operates as a joint venture between the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group and Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority, an autonomous body of the U.P. Government responsible for town planning and infrastructure development.
As part of the partnership, Incharz will offer special discounted charging tariffs at all partner locations, making EV charging more affordable for residents, visitors and daily commuters. This approach aligns with the broader market challenge in EV adoption, where charging accessibility and affordability remain significant barriers in urban centres.
Developer and Operator Perspectives
Prem Prakash, CEO of Incharz, termed the association a milestone, noting that deploying chargers at Gaurs Group's high-density properties brings convenient and cost-effective charging closer to people's daily commute, and that the company plans to forge more such partnerships to support India's rapidly growing EV adoption.
Ashish Sharma, CEO of Gaurs Group, said the collaboration will enable the company to provide reliable charging infrastructure at the heart of its housing societies, adding that the partnership supports the wider push for EV adoption and reinforces the company's commitment to creating environment-friendly, clean-energy-focused spaces.
Gaurs Group's Real Estate Footprint
Gaurs Group has delivered over 65+ projects in residential and commercial categories in Delhi-NCR. The developer was founded by Shri Banwari Lal Gaur in 1995 and is active in Noida, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway region. The group is known for their large-scale developments that often include integrated amenities like schools, hospitals, and retail spaces, aiming to create self-sufficient communities.
The group has successfully developed three townships, including the notable Gaur City in Noida Extension, home to nearly 30,000 families. Properties span sectors in Greater Noida West, Ghaziabad, and along the Yamuna Expressway corridor, making the company one of the largest residential portfolio holders in the region.
Market Context and EV Adoption
The NCR region and Uttar Pradesh are emerging as key EV growth markets driven by rising vehicle registrations, state EV policies, and rapid urbanisation, with Incharz and Gaurs Group aiming to accelerate EV adoption in Tier-1 and fast-growing Tier-2 cities, addressing the growing demand for accessible public charging infrastructure.
The partnership reflects a broader shift toward integrated real estate and sustainability infrastructure. With electric vehicle adoption accelerating across two-wheelers, three-wheelers, passenger cars and commercial fleets, dependable public charging infrastructure has become a cornerstone of the clean mobility transition.
Next Steps
Under the association, both companies have identified several high-potential sites to set up Public EV charging stations within Gaurs Group–managed spaces, with plans for expansion across multiple strategically located developments. The rollout is expected to unfold in phases, with Incharz managing end-to-end installation, operation, and long-term maintenance across the network.
