Gaur Yamuna City is Gaurs Group's largest single land parcel outside its Greater Noida West portfolio, and the project that took the Noida-based developer onto the Yamuna Expressway corridor for the first time. The township was launched in 2014 by Bollywood stars Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor on land purchased from the Jaypee Group along the Yamuna Expressway. The land originally formed part of Dankaur village and had been allocated to the Jaypee Group for development of the Yamuna Expressway before Gaursons acquired it. Coming a year before it marked two decades in business, the township signalled Gaurs Group's move from its established Noida Extension base into a corridor that has since become one of the most closely watched growth belts in the National Capital Region.
Gaursons India was incorporated in 1995 as a private limited company, converted into a public limited company in 2000, founded by B.L. Gaur, and is presently led by Managing Director Manoj Gaur. The group has developed more than 5.5 million sq ft of real estate across Noida, Ghaziabad and the Yamuna Expressway region, delivered close to 65 residential and commercial projects, and has 17 residential and 13 commercial projects under execution. Its best-known prior township is Gaur City in Greater Noida West; that project is today home to almost 25,000 families, giving buyers at Gaur Yamuna City a working precedent for how the developer scales and populates a large integrated township over time.
Spanning an expansive 250 acres, Gaur Yamuna City is one of India's largest integrated townships, with 65 per cent of the land — 162 acres — kept as open space. The township is planned for over 20,000 residential units, comprising 2, 3 and 4 BHK apartments starting from 92.90 sq m (1,000 sq ft), alongside plots starting from 65 sq m to cover a range of homebuyer preferences. Beyond housing, the plan includes hospitals, schools and commercial complexes within the township boundary. The township sits across Sectors 1, 19 and 22D on the Yamuna Expressway, and Knowledge Park II is the nearest metro station to the Gaur Yamuna City address.
A defining feature that separates Gaur Yamuna City from a standard residential project is the religious and cultural landmark Gaurs Group has built into the township. In February 2025, Gaurs Group unveiled a 108-foot statue of Lord Shri Krishna — India's tallest of the deity — along with the inauguration of the Hare Krishna Hare Ram Gaur Temple at Gaur Yamuna City, Sector 19. The inauguration was attended by Member of Parliament Hema Malini and Uttar Pradesh Minister of Tourism and Culture Jaiveer Singh. The structure is positioned to draw pilgrims and tourists travelling to Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura via the expressway, giving residents of the township a landmark of scale that is otherwise rare in a purely residential development on this stretch.
Gaur Yamuna City Shree Radhe Kunj, marketed by Gaursons as part of the 7th Parkview sector of the township, is a plotted residential development rather than a built-up apartment tower. 7th Parkview is positioned as a resort-style living precinct with panoramic views of nature and greenery, set within the 101-hectare (250-acre) integrated Gaur Yamuna City township on the Yamuna Expressway. The plots sit next to India's 108-ft Lord Krishna statue and the 10-acre GYC Sports Park, with cricket, tennis, badminton, basketball, a skating rink and an athletic track offered within walking distance, along with a kids' play area, a yoga park, an open gym, a lake and a jogging track. Plot sizes at 7th Parkview range from 79.70 sq m (95 sq yd) to 136.7 sq m (163 sq yd), catering to buyers who want to build a low-rise home to their own specification rather than buy a finished unit. The project carries RERA registration number UPRERAPRJ16087.
Gaur Yamuna City's location has shifted from a peripheral, land-bank address to one tied directly to an operating piece of national infrastructure. Noida International Airport at Jewar officially launched commercial flight operations on June 15, 2026, a milestone that took over a decade to arrive and is already reshaping the NCR real estate map. The airport's arrival has coincided with a sharp repricing of the corridor: apartment prices along the corridor rose 158% between 2020 and 2025, while plots saw an extraordinary five-fold jump of 536%, according to RealX Stats by InvestoXpert Advisors. Market experts now forecast an additional 20-30% price upside in 2026-2027 along the Yamuna Expressway corridor, driven by the shift from speculative premium to operational premium. For a plotted product like Shree Radhe Kunj, this is a directly relevant signal, since plotted land on this stretch has historically captured a larger share of airport-linked appreciation than built apartments.
The Yamuna Expressway itself remains the primary reason the location works for a Gaurs Group buyer. The location is in close proximity to the Yamuna Expressway, which connects it to Delhi, Noida, and Greater Noida, is well connected by public transport, and is surrounded by lush greenery that provides a serene living environment. The airport itself sits at the junction of the Yamuna Expressway, the proposed Delhi-Jewar Metro extension, and the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway — three expressway-class links converging in one corridor, which is rare even by NCR standards. Beyond transport, a 1,000-acre world-class Film City is under development just 4 km from the airport, with studios, post-production hubs, entertainment zones and hotels, adding to the mix of institutional and entertainment infrastructure taking shape around the township.
Gaur Yamuna City is not an isolated bet for the developer on this stretch. Gaurs Group has continued to add to its Yamuna Expressway portfolio well after the original 2014 launch, including a newer Sector 22D apartment launch on the same corridor, reflecting continued confidence in the belt rather than a one-time land deal. Within Gaur Yamuna City itself, the developer has phased delivery across multiple sub-projects — from ready apartments in earlier Parkview phases to plotted sections such as 7th Parkview — allowing buyers at Shree Radhe Kunj to see a functioning, partly-occupied township around their plot rather than a greenfield site alone.
